A two-year-old boy who died after he was struck by a car in Co Kilkenny on Friday evening has today been named as John Paul Holland from Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
The incident happened on the Carrick-on-Suir-to-Kilmonganny road just before 6 p.m. on Friday.
The boy was taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny but died last night. Gardaí in Thomastown are investigating.
