The UDA has urged supporters of another loyalist paramilitary, the LVF, not to attend a parade on Belfast's Shankill Road this weekend. The march is to commemorate UDA member Mr Jackie Coulter who was shot dead during last year's feud between the UDA and the UVF, which was itself sparked by a parade on the Shankill.

A UDA statement also named two other groups - the Orange Volunteers and the Red Hand Volunteers - which would not be welcome at Saturday's event. The parade would be "peaceful and dignified", the statement said.
