An Orange hall has been damaged in an arson attack in Co Tyrone, police said today.

An Orange hall has been damaged in an arson attack in Co Tyrone, police said today.

It is believed the front door of the hall in the Ballinderry/Bridge Road area of Coagh was forced open sometime between Saturday night and Sunday and a fire set inside.

It was reported to police at 5pm yesterday. Detectives in Cookstown appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them.

Another incident where the door of a hall near Pomeroy was damaged has not yet been reported to police.
