Two women were arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Longford early yesterday evening.
The teenager was stabbed at the entrance to Longford Shopping Centre at 6.10pm after he was confronted by a group of people.
It is believed the stabbing is connected to a feud between two local families, although the victim is not directly connected with the row.
Staff at the shopping centre administered first aid to the teenager before he was moved to hospital. His injuries are believed to be superficial.
