A woman escaped uninjured today after an arson attack at her home early this morning.
Two wheelie bins were set on fire at her Co Tyrone property, with one placed next to the door of her flat and the second near an oil tank.
Firefighters were called to the scene, in the Ballysaggart Park area of Dungannon, at around 4.30am and extinguished the small fire.
The PSNI said one woman who was inside the flat was uninjured and appealed for anyone in the area who noticed any unusual activity come forward.
Elsewhere, four police officers were treated for smoke inhalation today after a hotel fire in the county. A hotel worker led to safety by the officers from the Four Ways Hotel in the market town of Fivemiletown also needed medical attention.
Firefighters said the man was the only person in the hotel when the fire broke out and 20 people were evacuated from six nearby homes amid fears flames and smoke were spreading to properties on the terraced street.
Investigations are continuing in to the cause of the fire, which broke out in the bar area at around 2.45am.
