Two Catholic men from Northern Ireland have begun a hunger strike in Barlinnie prison in Glasgow, to protest against their arrest under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, writes Rachel Donnelly in London.

Raymond Barrow (39) and his brother, James Barrow (41), from Derry, were convicted of a breach of the peace and contravention of the PTA at Stranraer Sheriff's Court on September 16th. They had been arrested when they left the Larne-Stranraer ferry in April.
