Two held over Co Meath death

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man in Co Meath in the early hours of this morning.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man in Co Meath in the early hours of this morning.

The man died after he was stabbed at a house in Rathmolyon in Enfield, Co Meath.

Gardaí discovered the victim at about 1am and he was transferred to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where he later died.

Two men aged 29 and 59, were arrested at the house and are being held at Navan and Trim Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the office of the State pathologist has been notified.
