A 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy will appear in court today charged with the murder of a woman at a christening in London at the weekend.

The pair are accused of killing Zainab Kalokoh (33), who was cradling a baby at a family celebration in Peckham, south London, when she was shot dead.

The two teenagers also face charges of robbery at the party on Saturday. They will appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court.

Scotland Yard said two men, aged 19 and 33, were bailed to return for questioning in a month, pending further enquiries.

Mrs Kalokoh was killed after a gang of men in hooded tops gatecrashed the party at a community hall on the Wood Dene Estate near Queens Road. The baby was unharmed in the attack, which happened at around 10pm.

The gang stole guests' handbags, mobile phones and wine before fleeing from the scene on foot.

The baby's mother had reportedly just handed her child to Ms Kalokoh and walked outside to see off another relative when the attack began.
