Armed gardaí arrested two people in Wexford town last night following the discovery of cannabis resin with an estimated value of €20,000.
Detectives searched an apartment after discovering the cannabis in a car in the Coolcotts area of the town. A number of bars of cannabis were found and the two occupants, a man and woman in their twenties, were arrested.
The couple have been interviewed and released without charge, with a file to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
