DEFLECTOR TV groups in the West of Ireland are considering restoring retransmission of British television channels in a move to bring the bitter multi channel dispute to a head in the run up to the general election.
It is understood the community groups intend to "force the hand" of the legal MMDS companies into taking court action over the provision of the illegal deflect or systems in extensive rural parts of Galway and Mayo.
The issue has been described as controversial by deflector groups in the five seat Mayo constituency.
