Athens - The Turkish Foreign Ministry yesterday denied reports that officials had held secret talks with Greece to resolve territorial disputes in the Aegean Sea.

On Sunday, authoritative Greek sources insisted talks had taken place, as reported by the Greek pro-government daily To Vima. The paper said Turkey had sent a confidential message to Athens to say it was willing to compromise over territorial disputes in the Aegean, but not over Cyprus.
