A 20-year-old passenger in a pick-up truck, Mr Darren Smith, of Hale Street, Ardee, Co Louth, died yesterday when the driver apparently lost control and the vehicle struck a wall.
The incident happened at around 8.30 a.m. on the Ardee-Kells road. Three passengers were injured.
