Synopsis of main public transport issues today:
- Dublin Airport has suspended all flights until at least 8am tomorrow. Aer Lingus, Ryanair and Aer Arann have cancelled flights from the airport
- Cork, Shannon and Knock airports open, with some delays.
- Iarnrod Eireann reports full service on Intercity, Dart and Irish Rail routes. Delays reported on some routes
- Full service on Luas red and green lines
- Dublin Bus to end services at 10pm and Nitelink services cancelled.
- Most Bus Éireann services operating, with some delays and cancellations. Last services at 9pm
- Heavy snow showers in Munster, Connacht and Leinster
- Major traffic disruption throughout Dublin city, large numbers of cars being abandoned.
- Irish Sea ferries operating as normal
