Five of Ireland's top films are to be screened as part of a travelling film festival in Poland.

The award winning The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Breakfast on Pluto, Adam & Paul, Bloody Sunday and Studs will be shown to audiences across the country next month.

With archives from the Irish Film Institute (IFI), the Reel Ireland Travelling Film Festival will visit Gydnia, Warsaw and Kracow, where film fans can see — and read with subtitles — some of our most famous movies.

"Following the success of the inaugural Polish Film Festival here last year, we began planning to bring a programme of Irish films to Poland, many of which have not been seen there before," said Aoife Coughlan, Festivals and Reel Ireland Co-ordinator.
