The Tom Murphy season at the National Theatre, as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival, marks Murphy's contribution to Irish theatre. It runs from October 1st to 14th and comprises five full productions and a rehearsed reading of Famine, directed by Patrick Mason, on Sunday October 14th.

There are other events and initiatives, including a public interview with Murphy by Michael Billington (Sunday 7th) and a concert of music from his plays.
