Three men were stabbed during an attack in a bar in west Belfast early today.
One man (21) was stabbed in the face during the assault in the bar at Cupar Street Lower off the Falls Road, while a man in his 30s was stabbed in the side and a third man in his 20s suffered a hand injury.
All three were treated in hospital.
None of their injuries were believed to be life threatening.
The attack at around 12.45am was carried out by two masked men who entered the bar armed with a number of weapons including a knife.
A third man is believed to have waited outside and the attackers made off in either a large saloon car or 4x4.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman said they were " following a positive line of inquiry". He declined to give details due to "investigative reasons".
There were around 20 people in the bar at the time of the stabbings and police appealed for anyone who has yet to come forward to do so.
