Three of the four men arrested yesterday by the team investigating the murder of human rights lawyer Rosemary Nelson have been released.

The men were not arrested in connection with the murder of Mrs Nelson but on suspicion of terrorist activity. A spokesperson for the investigating team said a report would be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A fourth man is still being questioned by police.

Meanwhile a 41-year-old man who was arrested on Monday appeared in court this morning charged with conspiracy to murder, again not related to Mrs Nelson’s death, and was remanded in custody.
