Three men arrested during Tuesday night's disturbances on the streets of north Belfast appeared in court yesterday.
They faced a variety of charges, including riotous and disorderly behaviour, assaulting and obstructing police and possessing a baton as an offensive weapon.
The offences were alleged to have occurred at Skegoniel Avenue and the peaceline in the Oldpark area.
Two defendants were remanded in custody. The other was released on bail but ordered to stay in his home at night to keep him out of trouble.
