Detectives recovered the haul at a container on the Lifford Road in Strabane, Co Tyrone.
Some 2,190 bangers, three large boxes of fireworks and 10 sky rockets were removed from the scene.
Police said they were seized during an operation at 1.20pm against the suspected illegal selling of fireworks.
