Nairobi - Thousands of Congolese civilians displaced by civil war are trapped in the jungle, sick and undernourished but too frightened to seek humanitarian aid, the UN food agency said yesterday. The World Food Programme said the populations of entire villages had fled into the jungle where they had few means of survival, according to an assessment in six remote locations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
