Gardaí have arrested a third man for questioning about the murder of a suspected drug dealer earlier this year as they continued to question two other men arrested earlier.
Detectives investigating the murder of father of two Darren Falsey (36) arrested a 22-year-old man at a location in Carrigaline, shortly after 8am yesterday and brought him to the Bridewell Garda station in Cork city for questioning.
Falsey was shot dead when he answered a knock at the front door of his home in Ashbourne Court, Ferney Road, Carrigaline, on August 3rd.
The man may be held by the Garda for up to seven days before being released or charged.
Meanwhile, gardaí were due to go to court last night to request an extension to the detentions of a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old man arrested on Monday morning for questioning about the murder.
