The report that the rebel forces in the Burmese jungle have chosen pyjamas for their uniforms reminds me that such an innovation will be certain to meet with the approval of the Associated Apparel Manufacturers of the United States.

At its annual meeting in Chicago recently this association accepted as part of its annual report the following interesting statement: ["]The pyjama suit is not only the correct mode for breakfast wear, but gaily-decorated pyjamas are indicated for afternoon tea and bridge. Young women on the Pacific coast are even wearing them at dances, but in our opinion the suit is inappropriate for evening.["]

With pyjamas on the beach, in the trenches, at the breakfast and tea tables, and possibly at card tables and dances, it would seem to be ["]indicated["]

that the suit should be used all day, and the ordinary day wear may be ["] indicated["] for use while sleeping.
