Alan Dukes was launching the National Museum of Ireland's 1997 calendar, which will be distributed free to every primary and secondary school it the republican total of 4,975 at a reception thrown by the director Pat Wallace in the museum on Monday.
Asked if he knew when Collins Barracks, the new location for the museum, would be opening, the Minister replied "before the general election." The move is planned for next summer. Make of that what you will.
