A teenager pleaded guilty yesterday to petrol bombing the home of a near neighbour in Limerick last year.
Gerard Gamell (19), Creaval Park, Moyross, also pleaded guilty at Limerick Circuit Court to a second charge of causing criminal damage to his neighbour’s house at Castlepark, Moyross.
The house was targeted on November 5th, 2010, and Mr Gamell suffered burn injuries as a result of the incident. The accused was treated at the burns unit at Cork University Hospital over a number of months.
Yesterday at the Circuit Court, Judge Carroll Moran said he would sentence Mr Gamell later this month.
