Hindus in the Islamic state will also be required to tie a piece of yellow cloth measuring two metres to their houses.

The decree also bars Hindus from building new places of worship, even if they are to replace ones that have been destroyed.

The Hindustan Timessays a report on Star News television warned that Hindus who do not follow Islamic law face prosecution.
