The Supreme Court has lifted reporting restrictions on an injunction sought by millionaire businessman Mr Denis O'Brien against a Sunday newspaper.
Mr O'Brien is seeking the injunction against the Sunday Business Post which wished to publish an article alleging he faces a €55 million tax claim by the Revenue Commissioners.
Mr O'Brien last month sought a High Court injunction to stop the Sunday Business Post publishing the article about him.
The Supreme Court today granted a stay preventing publication of the article until Mr O'Brien's appeal to the Supreme Court against the High Court's refusal to prevent publication is determined. But the court refused to grant a stay preventing publication of the proceedings.
