PORTMADOG - People in the last "dry" county in Wales have voted by more than a 2-1 margin to overturn a 115 year old law preventing them from alcohol in pubs on Sundays.

Pubs in Gwynedd will be open on Sundays for the first time since an 1881 act of parliament prevented the sale of alcohol on the Sabbath.
