Striking work

Visitors to the National Council for Vocational Awards exhibition, "Designers of the Future", taking place at the Guinness Hop Store from September 22nd to 28th, should keep an eagle eye out for a very striking piece of work by Miriam Leyden. She has created a text which illustrates Pablo Neruda's poem Oda Al Tomate, using tomatoes in a very vivid and original way. The show features work by NCVA graduates from around the country, and some of the paintings also have amusing and interesting food themes.
