Two teenagers were arrested yesterday after gardai chased a stolen car which crashed in turn into a parked car, another car being driven by a woman and a fire tender.
A Gardai helicopter was involved in the chase which took place in the Phibsborough area from about 3.40 p.m. The high-powered stolen vehicle struck a parked car on Berkley Road, before hitting a second car on O'Connell Avenue. The woman driver of this car was not hurt.
The stolen car was then abandoned by its occupants after they hit a Dublin Fire Brigade tender on the North Circular Road. Two youths, aged 17 and 15, were arrested.
