A case listed for hearing at Limerick District Court yesterday in which a Dublin woman was accused of managing a brothel was withdrawn by the State.

Insp John Murphy, Henry Street, told Judge Tom O'Donnell that the State was no longer pursuing the prosecution and he asked that it be withdrawn and struck out.

Ms Genny Quigley (23), St Attracta Road, Cabra, was charged on two counts that on Wednesday and Thursday, February 2nd and 3rd, at Apartment No 14 off 11 John Street, Limerick, she did keep, manage, act or assist in the management of a brothel contrary to Section 11 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act, 1993.
