There are five Special Olympics World Games events taking place around Dublin today following last night's colourful opening ceremony in Croke Park.
In the National Aquatic Centre in Abbotstown competition has commenced in the swimming while the opening stages of the football will be taking place in Belfield and the AUL grounds in Swords.
The RDS is hosting the divisioning and competition in Bocce as well as the divisioning of the gymnastics event.
Competition in the tennis will commence at seven o'clock this evening in the David Lloyd Riverview Racquet Club..
