The leaders of the three Coalition parties will hold a special meeting with the Minister for Finance in Government Buildings tomorrow to try and conclude the Estimates for the next Budget, Geraldine Kennedy, Political Correspondent, writes. Government sources indicated the meeting was being held on a Sunday to meet the exigencies of the party leaders' diaries. Mr Bruton will travel to six EU capitals next week on EU Presidency business. Mr Spring will spend two days in Brussels.
Mr Quinn has set a deadline of the first week of December for the publication of the Estimates. His spokesman said last night they were "almost finalised". Mr Bruton, Mr Spring and Mr De Rossa will also meet tomorrow to make a public appeal for support in the bail referendum next Thursday.
