Cape Canaveral - The International Space Station yesterday became the roomiest spacecraft ever to fly, after the addition of a $1.4 billion science module, Destiny. Destiny's 106 cubic metres of work space added more than 40 per cent to the station's total volume, NASA said. The science module was ferried to the space station last week by the space shuttle Atlantis.
