The detachment of 40 soldiers who have completed their six-month tour of duty with the UN peace-keeping mission in East Timor return home this morning The unit, known as No. 1 Irish Contingent INTERFET, included 30 members of the specialist Army Ranger Wing who carried out difficult patrolling of troubled areas. There were no casualties.
