SYDNEY - The Sydney 2000 Olympics will house all 15,300 athletes and officials in a high-tech "solar village", the host Australian state government yesterday said in unveiling the village design.
The A$470 million (£223 million) village is in line with Sydney's commitment to a "green" Games, a cornerstone of its winning bid to secure the Olympics.
