London - Elton John yesterday expressed "disappointment" after losing his £14 million High Court battle over touring costs. The ruling has left him with an estimated £8 million legal bill.
In a statement from the United States, where he is touring with Billy Joel, the singer-songwriter said he was considering an appeal.
He had sued Mr Andrew Haydon, former managing director of John Reid Enterprises, for many years the star's management company, and London accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers, which looked after his business interests.
