Police in Downpatrick, Co Down, are investigating shooting at a house in the town last night.
The owner of a house in the Quoile Bray area of the town heard a knock on his front door shortly after 9pm.
When he went to a window he saw a man wearing a motorcycle helmet raise a handgun in the air.
The owner of the house jumped to cover and heard three shots being fired in the air.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the incident is not being treated as sectarian.
