Shannon based pharmaceutical firm Schwartz Pharma AG is to reduce its Irish workforce by 70, it was reported today.

Shannon based pharmaceutical firm Schwartz Pharma AG is to reduce its Irish workforce by 70, it was reported today.

The firm, which produces chemical components for the pharmaceutical sector, currently employs 250 people in Shannon.

However, over the next two years this is going to be reduced by 70 as the company relocates some of its operations to Germany.
