The Sinn Fein chairman, Mr Mitchel McLaughlin, has condemned a petrol bombing incident that took place at Larne, Co Antrim, early yesterday morning.
The incident took place shortly before 2 a.m., when a window at the home of a Catholic man living on Hampton Crescent was broken and a petrol bomb thrown inside. The RUC said the occupant of the house sustained minor injuries and damage to the house was minimal.
Mr McLaughlin called the incident part of an "ongoing campaign by loyalists to drive Catholics not just from Larne but the entire east Antrim area", and criticised unionist leaders for not taking measures to implement the Belfast Agreement.
