Tehran - The case of an Iranian who underwent a sexchange operation has perplexed an inheritance court in Iran, where sons inherit twice as much as daughters, a newspaper reported yesterday.

The daily Iran said 19-yearold Hassan, who was born a girl but underwent a sex-change operation five years ago, appeared at the court which was hearing inheritance claims after his father's death. The judge postponed ruling in the case until Hassan could get his sex officially changed in his identity papers.
