Pristina - Serbs vented their anger at international observers in the western Kosovo town of Pec yesterday, after six people died when masked gunmen went on a shooting spree in a Serb cafe on Monday night.

A US official said the situation in Pec was tense yesterday with Serb children pelting observers' patrol vehicles with rocks and groups of adults spitting at the bright orange vehicles and demanding they leave the town.
