Pale - Bosnian Serb anger over last week's moves against indicted war criminals brought new violence yesterday. An American soldier was stabbed and a grenade exploded outside a United Nations residence in Bosnian Serb territory.
The blast was the third attack on foreigners since British troops killed one suspect and arrested another last Thursday. The arrests were seen as a warning to former war leaders Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic that their turn could be next.
The New York Times has claimed France is withholding its support for a new operation, but that NATO plans more raids.
