Sentence on a Wicklow gardener who sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl has been adjourned again by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to June 10th.
Niall Vaughan (33), married and a father of two, of Millfield Enniskerry, admitted committing the offence on August 12th 1994. The adjournment was at the request of Mr Martin Giblin SC, defending.
Det Garda Declan Mallon told Mr Fergal Foley, prosecuting, that Vaughan had five previous convictions, none of which were for sexual offences. Vaughan's guilty plea came on the second day of his trial in April.
