Sacramento - A Californian security man suspected of murdering five people on a rampage at the weekend killed himself early yesterday after a shoot-out with police in which two other people were injured.
Joseph Ferguson (20) was found slumped over the wheel of a stolen car, still heavily armed. He was suspended from his job at Burns International Security last week, and allegedly made several threatening calls to co-workers on Saturday evening.
Two female Burns employees were found dead in a guard booth at a city equipment yard. One was Ferguson's former girlfriend. Shortly after that, a Burns security guard and a man believed to have been a bystander were killed. Ferguson drove to the home of a Burns supervisor and killed him.
