Second man charged with Derry murder

A second man was tonight charged with the murder of a father-of-four outside a bar in Derry city last week.

A second man was tonight charged with the murder of a father-of-four outside a bar in Derry city last week.

The 36-year-old will appear before Derry magistrates tomorrow accused of murdering kitchen assistant Tony McNamee.

Mr McNamee (37), from Sevenoaks in the Waterside, was found critically injured in a lane outside the bar on the Dungiven Road on the night of Tuesday, November 23rd.

He died later in Altnagelvin Hospital.

Last week, Mr Paul Andrew John McGinley, a 37-year-old chef from Shepherd's Glen in the Waterside was remanded in custody charged with Mr McNamee's murder.
