A second Australian diagnosed with H1N1 has died, but the government said there was no evidence so-called "swine flu" was getting worse.
A 35-year-old man died from the virus in Victoria state, but had other medical problems adding to the severity of H1N1, Health Minister Nicola Roxon told national parliament.
"It is a reminder that the flu can have severe outcomes for some people with existing conditions," Ms Roxon said.
A 26-year-old man died last week.
