A 21-year-old woman who suffered serious burns in an arson attack in Armagh last week has died in hospital.

A 21-year-old woman who suffered serious burns in an arson attack in Armagh last week has died in hospital.

Lisa McClatchy's boyfriend Thomas O'Hare (33) died on Friday last, following the attack on the farmhouse in Tassagh, near Keady on Tuesday, November 7th.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with withholding information and perverting the course of justice over a fatal attack.

An hour after the attack, four men were admitted to a hospital across the Border in Dundalk, also with burns. They were later transferred to St James's Hospital, Dublin, with serious burns ranging from 35 per cent to 55 per cent. They are described as 'seriously ill' and it is expected that they will require treatment at St James's Hospital for some time.

The PSNI have stated they will want to speak to the men in due course and are still looking for at least two other individuals in connection with this double murder.

McClatchey's family were offered deepest sympathies by the SDLP Assembly Member for Newry and Armagh Dominic Bradley said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lisa's family and all who knew her at this very difficult time."

Armagh councillor Sharon Haughey, who is a cousin of the four brothers being treated for burns, also sent her condolences to the McClatcheys.

The police have appealed for anyone who was in the area of Foley Road, Coolmillish Road, Ballymacnab or the Friary Road area of Armagh on the evening of Monday November 6, or on the Friary Road towards Newtownhamilton between 8.15pm and 9.45pm to come forward.

They have also asked for information about a dark coloured Vauxhall Vectra car, a Rover 200 series car and a BMW 3-series car in these areas on the evening of Monday November 6.

The PSNI are looking to speak to the driver of a light coloured Renault Megane car who was in the area of Foley Road around 9pm on the same evening.
