Saudi Arabia has given Muslim militants a one-month deadline to surrender to security forces after authorities killed the al Qaeda leader in the oil-rich kingdom.

"Those who surrender voluntarily within no more than one month from the date of this speech...will be treated according to God's law," de facto ruler Crown Prince Abdullah said in a speech on behalf of King Fahd carried on state television today.
