Up to £30,000 is believed to have been in the safe which was taken by armed raiders from the Shannon Court Hotel at Ballycaseymore, Shannon, shortly before 6 a.m. on Monday.
Yesterday gardai under Supt Gerry Kelly were compiling a list of the occupants over the weekend. A search was being made over a wide area for the luggage trolley used to carry the 8 cwt safe away.
