Saddam's son shot in car attack

BAGHDAD - President Saddam Hussein's eldest son, Uday, was shot and wounded yesterday while driving in the Iraqi capital.

BAGHDAD - President Saddam Hussein's eldest son, Uday, was shot and wounded yesterday while driving in the Iraqi capital.

A spokesman for the presidential office said Uday was driving in his personal car in the smart district of alMansour when the attack took place. Uday (32) was in hospital last night but said to be not badly hurt.
